SOMEWHERE ESLE

Somewhere Else is about our tendency to believe that life would be better somewhere else.

The mountains, the lake, the colors, everything seems peaceful, almost ideal. A place we imagine escaping to when everyday life becomes too loud.

But the painting is not really about a destination. It is about desire. We spend so much time looking for a better place that we sometimes forget to see the one we are already in.

Maybe somewhere else is not a place at all.
